CREDIT OFFICER @ MSANDO HR SOLUTIONS
This role seeks a competent and results-driven Credit Officer to join a microfinance client based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The core focus involves supporting the entire loan lifecycle, from appraisal and disbursement to rigorous monitoring and effective recovery actions. The successful candidate will be crucial in maintaining compliance with all microfinance policies and procedures while ensuring the healthy growth of the loan portfolio.
Key responsibilities include assessing and processing loan applications, conducting thorough credit analysis and client appraisals, and maintaining accurate loan records and reports. A significant aspect of this position requires a willingness to conduct frequent field visits and potentially work in upcountry areas to follow up on overdue and non-performing loans, demonstrating a high level of accountability and integrity.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–2 years’ experience in microfinance or credit operations
- Strong credit appraisal and risk assessment skills
- Experience in loan disbursement, monitoring, and recovery
- Willingness to conduct field visits and work in upcountry areas
- Good communication and customer service skills
- High level of integrity and accountability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for financial reporting
- Knowledge of Tanzanian microfinance regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to analyze complex financial statements and cash flows
