Montessori College of Education is seeking a highly experienced College Librarian to oversee and manage all library operations, resources, and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic support to faculty and students, implementing modern library technologies, and ensuring the college's collection development aligns with the curriculum needs.
This role involves managing the library budget, supervising library staff, cataloging materials using standard systems, and promoting a culture of reading and research within the institution. Requirements:
- Master's degree in Library Science or Information Management.
- Proven experience (at least 3 years) working as a librarian in an educational setting.
- Expertise in library management software (LMS) and cataloging standards (e.g., MARC).
- Ability to manage library budget and resources effectively.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with digital library resources and databases.
- Knowledge of current trends in library services and academic support.
- Ability to train and supervise library staff.
- Develop and implement library policies.
- Support students and faculty with research needs.
