The College IT Officer is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and security of the college's technology infrastructure, including networks, hardware, software, and systems. This role ensures reliable IT support for all administrative and academic functions, promoting efficient use of technology across the campus.
Key duties include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, managing user accounts, maintaining the college's online presence, and implementing robust data backup and recovery procedures. Candidates must possess technical proficiency and strong problem-solving capabilities to handle the daily demands of an educational institution's IT environment.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in network and system administration.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security practices.
- Experience managing Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot college website and email systems.
- Experience with data backup and recovery procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for user support and training.
- Certification in relevant IT domains (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco) is preferred.
- Manage and maintain computer lab facilities.
