MOLD TECHNICIAN @ METL GROUP
We are seeking a highly specialized Mold Technician for our Moshi manufacturing site. The technician will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, modification, and repair of intricate production molds, primarily focusing on plastic injection or blow molding operations.
Key functions include diagnosing issues related to mold performance (e.g., material defects, wear), performing precision machining adjustments, and collaborating with the production team to maximize mold lifespan and product quality.

Requirements:
- Technical Diploma in Tool and Die Making, Machining, or related field.
- Proven experience in mold repair, maintenance, and fabrication (5+ years).
- Expert knowledge of mold components, hot runner systems, and cooling channels.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers).
- Ability to diagnose mold issues (flashing, short shots) and implement corrective actions.
- Skill in operating workshop machinery (lathes, milling machines, grinders).
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and CAD software visualization.
- Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling for molds.
- Knowledge of various molding polymers and their properties.
- Commitment to maintaining tight tolerances and quality finishes.
