LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR @ METL GROUP
A highly capable Logistics Supervisor is needed in Dar es Salaam to oversee and optimize the receiving, warehousing, and dispatch operations. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient inventory flow and ensuring timely delivery of manufactured goods.
The Supervisor will manage the logistics team, coordinate transport activities, utilize WMS systems, and analyze operational data to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Expertise in both domestic and international shipping regulations is a significant advantage.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Logistics Supervisor, preferably in manufacturing (4+ years).
- Deep knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control techniques.
- Proficiency in logistics software and WMS systems.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills.
- Ability to analyze logistics data and optimize routes/processes.
- Familiarity with Tanzanian import/export procedures and customs regulations.
- Excellent negotiation skills with transporters and suppliers.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS) is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large fleet or transport network.
- Strong record-keeping and auditing skills.
