JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT @ METL GROUP
We are seeking a diligent Junior Accountant to join our finance team based in Kibaha. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad experience by assisting with general ledger maintenance, processing transactions, and supporting the preparation of monthly financial statements.
The successful candidate will focus on accuracy in data entry, reconciliation of accounts, and ensuring compliance with company financial policies. Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills are necessary for success.

Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field (CPA/ACCA preferred or ongoing).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally, QuickBooks).
- Experience with general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
