FLEET TECHNICIAN @ METL GROUP
We require a skilled Fleet Technician in Zanzibar to maintain and repair our extensive fleet of commercial and heavy vehicles. The technician will be responsible for both routine preventative maintenance and complex fault diagnosis and repair.
This position requires expertise in automotive systems, including diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical diagnostics. The Technician must ensure that all vehicles operate reliably and safely, minimizing breakdown time and optimizing fleet availability.

Requirements:
- Technical certification in Automotive or Mechanical Repair.
- Minimum 3 years experience servicing and repairing light and heavy vehicles (fleet).
- Expert knowledge of engine diagnostics, electrical systems, and routine vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to perform quick and accurate fault diagnosis using diagnostic tools.
- Experience managing maintenance records and reporting repair activities.
- Familiarity with workshop safety and quality standards.
- Proficiency in basic welding and fabrication related to vehicle repairs.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Strong ability to work independently in remote environments.
