ELECTRICIAN @ METL GROUP
We require a certified Industrial Electrician for our factory operations in Dar es Salaam. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and expert troubleshooting of all high and low voltage electrical systems, control panels, and automation equipment within the plant.
The Electrician must be adept at interpreting complex electrical schematics, working with PLCs and VFDs, and ensuring strict adherence to national electrical codes and industrial safety standards to minimize operational downtime.

Requirements:
- Relevant Trade Test certification or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years experience as an industrial or commercial electrician.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing industrial control panels, motors, and wiring systems (single and three-phase).
- Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and instrumentation is essential.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong adherence to national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on plant electrical infrastructure.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing tools (multimeters, megohmmeters).
- Ability to manage small electrical installation projects.
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
