We are recruiting a Detergent Supervisor for our chemical manufacturing plant in Dar es Salaam. This specialized role involves overseeing the entire detergent production process, from raw material formulation and mixing to packaging, ensuring batch consistency and adherence to quality parameters.
The Supervisor is responsible for managing the production team, optimizing batch cycle times, and strictly enforcing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols specific to chemical manufacturing operations.

Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, or related science.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a detergent or chemical manufacturing environment.
- Expert knowledge of formulation, mixing processes, and quality control standards for detergents.
- Ability to manage production schedules and optimize batch processes.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety protocols (HSE) related to chemical handling.
- Experience training and managing production line staff.
- Troubleshooting skills related to equipment malfunction and batch variance.
- Knowledge of packaging equipment specific to liquid and powder detergents.
- Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Ability to maintain detailed batch records and reports.
