BOILER OPERATOR @ METL GROUP
A certified Boiler Operator is needed for our industrial facility in Zanzibar. The core function involves monitoring, operating, and maintaining high-pressure industrial boilers to supply steam necessary for manufacturing processes, while strictly adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities include routine parameter checks (pressure, water level), water chemistry management, fuel efficiency optimization, and performing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure continuous, safe operation.

Requirements:
- Relevant certification/license to operate industrial boilers (High-Pressure/Low-Pressure).
- Proven experience monitoring and adjusting boiler operation parameters (pressure, temperature, water level).
- Strong understanding of boiler mechanics and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on boiler systems.
- Skill in troubleshooting and identifying causes of operational failures.
- Knowledge of fuel efficiency practices.
- Adherence to strict safety guidelines and emergency procedures.
- Experience with water treatment systems for boiler feed water.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts.
