MATHS & SCIENCES TUTOR @ KUVECHA KIDS
Kuvecha Kids is hiring a dedicated Maths & Sciences Tutor to support Key Stage 3 students in Tanzania. This role requires specialization in both mathematical and scientific disciplines under the framework of the Cambridge Curriculum. The successful applicant will be expected to provide high-quality, targeted instruction to students in Years 7, 8, and 9, ensuring they achieve mastery in these critical subjects.This is a part-time opportunity, requiring availability between 1pm and 5pm. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, and have a proven track record of at least two years in tutoring or teaching similar subjects. The focus is on building strong foundational knowledge and critical thinking skills in Maths and Sciences.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the Cambridge Curriculum, specifically for Maths and Sciences
- Excellent spoken and written English
- At least 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience
- Must be available part-time (1pm - 5pm)
- Expertise in teaching Secondary level Mathematics (e.g., Algebra, Geometry)
- Expertise in teaching Secondary level Sciences (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
- Ability to simplify complex scientific and mathematical concepts
- Strong pedagogical skills tailored for Key Stage 3 students
- Relevant degree in Mathematics, Science, or Education
- Experience preparing students for internal and external Cambridge examinations
