TECHNICIAN (CONSTRUCTION) @ KIFARU REAL ESTATE
KIFARU REAL ESTATE is seeking a dedicated Construction Technician to join our team in Dar es Salaam. This vital role involves overseeing and supervising technical construction works on various sites, ensuring that all activities adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety. The successful candidate must possess foundational knowledge in civil engineering or building construction and be capable of interpreting construction drawings and strictly following site schedules.Responsibilities include monitoring material usage, implementing proper safety protocols, and accurately reporting daily work progress to the Site Supervisor or Engineer. We require a disciplined, hardworking team player who is prepared to operate under pressure and demonstrates flexibility, including the willingness to work on construction projects located outside of Dar es Salaam when required by the company.
Requirements:
- Possession of a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Civil Engineering or Building Construction.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant site experience (added advantage).
- Ability to accurately read and interpret construction drawings and strictly follow site schedules.
- Must be hardworking, disciplined, and a strong team player.
- Willingness to work under pressure and travel/work outside of Dar es Salaam when required.
- Proven ability to supervise technical construction works and ensure project efficiency.
- Strong understanding of construction quality assurance, safety protocols, and material usage optimization.
- Excellent reporting skills for accurately communicating work progress to senior management.
- Proficiency in site management and adhering to project timelines.
- Commitment to ensuring the proper use of materials and maintaining site safety standards.
