The Sales Executive will be a key driver of sales growth and market expansion for FMCG products in Zanzibar, Tanzania. The core purpose of this role involves achieving assigned sales targets, contributing significantly to revenue growth, and meticulously planning and executing daily sales routes to ensure comprehensive market coverage and optimal product availability. The successful candidate will also be responsible for building and sustaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, wholesalers, and various retail outlets across the island.

Key responsibilities include actively implementing trade promotions, upholding merchandising standards, and ensuring high brand visibility within the market. Furthermore, the role requires continuous monitoring of competitor activities to provide timely and accurate market feedback and insights. The Sales Executive must also demonstrate proficiency in administrative tasks, preparing and submitting detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates as required by management. Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in FMCG sales.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of the Zanzibar market and retail environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail outlets.
