JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT @ IDEAL INTERNATIONAL POWER TOOLS
Ideal International Power Tools – Tanzania Branch is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their growing team in Dar Es Salaam. The selected candidate will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, manage billing, vouchers, and invoices, and assist in preparing financial reports using Excel and accounting software like Tally. Key duties also include managing cash handling, reconciling daily sales, assisting customers with power tool inquiries, and ensuring showroom organization. The compensation package includes a salary of USD 500 - 700 per month, plus Visa, Food, and Accommodation provided by the Company.
This full-time role requires a high degree of organization and commitment to accuracy in financial operations. Candidates must be prepared to relocate to Tanzania and utilize their good communication skills in both English and Hindi. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a General Accounting role (fresh graduates with strong foundation are also encouraged).
- Willingness and readiness to relocate to Tanzania.
- Good working knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Hindi.
- Ability to prepare invoices accurately using a billing system.
- Experience in managing daily cash reconciliation and secure cash handling.
- Proficiency in entering sales entries, receipts, and basic accounting transactions in Tally.
- Ability to handle and reconcile petty cash transactions.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy in financial operations.
