The Mould Expert position is crucial for our plastic manufacturing operations in Tanga, focusing specifically on the production of packaging for FMCG/Cosmetics. The role requires specialized expertise in the design, maintenance, repair, and optimization of injection and blow moulds to ensure continuous, high-quality production output.
This position demands a highly technical and hands-on professional who is operationally strong in minimizing downtime and maximizing the lifespan of tooling assets. Compulsory experience in FMCG/Cosmetics manufacturing, especially involving plastic components, is required, with Africa exposure being highly valued.

Requirements:
- Experience in FMCG and/or Cosmetics manufacturing is compulsory.
- Deep expertise in plastic moulding processes, tooling design, and repair.
- Ability to service, repair, and optimize complex injection and blow moulds.
- Must be technically hands-on and operationally strong in mould adjustments and setup.
- Proven experience in minimizing mould downtime and maximizing tool lifespan.
- Demonstrated Africa exposure (strong advantage).
- Knowledge of various plastic resins and their specific processing requirements.
- Strong understanding of precision engineering and tolerance standards for mould components.
- Ability to conduct preventative maintenance schedules for all moulds.
- Experience using CAD software for mould modification or assessment (advantageous).
