MAINTENANCE MANAGER @ HIRECREST
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all preventative and reactive maintenance operations crucial for the seamless running of our FMCG/Cosmetics manufacturing plants in Tanzania. This role ensures maximum uptime and efficiency of all production machinery, requiring strong technical knowledge and strategic maintenance planning.
This managerial position demands flexibility, as the candidate will cover maintenance needs across our facilities in both Tanga and Dar es Salaam. The successful applicant must be technically hands-on, operationally strong, and possess compulsory experience within the FMCG or Cosmetics manufacturing environment, with Africa exposure being highly favorable.

Requirements:
- Experience in FMCG and/or Cosmetics manufacturing is compulsory.
- Proven experience managing maintenance operations in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
- Expertise in developing and executing preventative maintenance programs.
- Strong technical skills covering mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Operationally strong and capable of rapid troubleshooting for complex machinery.
- Demonstrated Africa exposure (strong advantage).
- Ability to manage maintenance teams across multiple sites (Tanga and Dar es Salaam).
- In-depth knowledge of industrial safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience maintaining plastic processing equipment (injection/blow molding).
- Budget control experience related to maintenance parts and services.
