INFRASTRUCTURE SPECIALIST @ HALOTEL
Halotel seeks an Infrastructure Specialist to oversee the deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of our physical network assets in the western regions. This role encompasses managing all aspects of telecom site infrastructure, including civil works, power solutions, and ensuring structural integrity meets company standards and regulatory requirements.
The specialist will be critical in driving infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, coordinating external vendors, and conducting regular site audits in Geita and Kagera. A strong background in civil or electrical engineering, coupled with robust project management capabilities in a telecom environment, is essential for success in this demanding position.

Requirements:
- Experience in managing and deploying telecom site infrastructure (towers, power systems, shelters).
- Knowledge of civil works standards and site acceptance procedures.
- Ability to supervise contractors and ensure quality of infrastructure development.
- Strong project management skills related to site build-out and maintenance.
- Understanding of security and environmental standards for telecom sites.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Expertise in handling site acquisition and regulatory compliance processes.
- Proven track record of managing OPEX and CAPEX related to infrastructure.
- Familiarity with specific regional challenges in Geita and Kagera.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.
