DRIVER @ GLOBAL ALLIANCE FOR IMPROVED NUTRITION (GAIN)
The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), a Swiss-based foundation, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Driver to join their team in Kigali, Rwanda. This role is crucial for supporting official operations, ensuring safe transportation of authorized personnel, and maintaining adherence to local traffic regulations. The Driver will be responsible for daily logistics, including managing vehicle documentation, handling official deliveries, and supporting essential field visits and airport transfers. This position is offered on a one-year fixed-term contract.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the vehicle according to GAIN's policies, performing basic mechanical checks, and having a comprehensive understanding of Kigali routes. Candidates must possess a minimum O-Level education and valid Category B & D driving licenses, alongside proven experience in an NGO or private sector driving capacity. The annual gross salary for this position ranges from RWF 6,956,654 to RWF 7,950,442, depending on the candidate's experience.

Requirements:
- Transport authorized personnel for official duties
- Maintain vehicle safety items and documentation as per Rwanda road laws
- Handle mail, banking transactions, and official deliveries
- Support airport pickups and field visits
- Ensure vehicle maintenance aligned with GAIN’s Vehicle Use Policy
- Proven experience as a driver in NGO or private sector settings
- Good knowledge of Kigali routes and project implementation districts
- Basic mechanical skills for general vehicle maintenance
- Minimum O‑Level education
- Valid Category B & D driving license
