FLIGHT DISPATCHER @ FLYEVO
Flyevo is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Flight Dispatcher to join our operations team based in Houston, Texas. This is an office-based position crucial for ensuring the safety and efficiency of all flight operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for jointly authorizing and dispatching flights, considering factors such as weather, airspace restrictions, airport conditions, and aircraft performance data.
The Flight Dispatcher will prepare and file operational flight plans, monitor ongoing flights, and advise flight crews of any changes affecting the safety of the flight. This role requires strong adherence to FAA regulations and procedures, coupled with excellent judgment and the ability to make time-critical decisions in a dynamic aviation environment. Applicants must be authorized to work within the United States.

Requirements:
- Valid FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in flight dispatch or an operations center environment.
- Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations (Part 121 or 135) for domestic operations.
- Proficiency in advanced flight planning software and meteorological analysis.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills under high pressure.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate with flight crews and air traffic control.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and willing to be office-based in Houston, TX.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience with fuel planning and optimization strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain situational awareness of the entire flight environment.
