NOC DISPATCH - ISP @ FIRESIDE GROUP LTD.
Fireside Group Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and qualified NOC Dispatch professional to join our team in Nairobi. The primary responsibility of this role is to monitor our ISP network infrastructure, identify service affecting incidents, and efficiently coordinate the dispatch of field technicians for timely resolution. This position is crucial for maintaining high service uptime and ensuring seamless connectivity for our clients.
The ideal candidate will possess robust technical troubleshooting abilities and effective communication skills necessary for operating within a 24/7 network environment. You will be responsible for utilizing network monitoring tools and managing incident tickets, ensuring adherence to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISP infrastructure and networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for network issues.
- Ability to manage and prioritize dispatching field technicians efficiently.
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ability to work in shifts (24/7 environment).
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira).
- Understanding of SLA management and incident resolution procedures.
- Relevant certification (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+).
