PROJECT OFFICER @ FAVORITE HR SERVICES
This role as a Project Officer within the NGO sector requires a dedicated professional to manage and coordinate key projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project lifecycle stages, including detailed planning, robust implementation, and effective monitoring and evaluation of activities. A strong background in supporting donor-funded or multi-stakeholder initiatives is essential to ensure successful delivery against strategic objectives and maintain high standards of accountability.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related field, supplemented by a professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2. You must have proven experience of 2-4 years in relevant coordination or management roles. Key duties will include stakeholder communication, resource allocation, risk management, and preparing comprehensive reports on project progress and outcomes to ensure organizational goals are met efficiently in the Dar es Salaam region.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Development Studies, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2-4 years' proven experience in project coordination, implementation, or management.
- Experience supporting donor-funded or multi-stakeholder projects.
- Strong understanding of project planning, monitoring and evaluation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in relevant project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within an NGO environment.
- Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
