SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE – PROJECTS @ EXPERTEDGE
Our client, a market-leading organization within the paints and coatings sector, is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to spearhead project sales, influence specifications, and deepen partnerships across Kenya’s built environment. This role is crucial for their strategic growth agenda and involves leading specification-driven sales by influencing key stakeholders such as architects, consultants, developers, and contractors across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and industrial projects. The position offers a Competitive gross salary: KES 150,000/
– 200,000/- plus attractive commissions.
The executive will be responsible for identifying, mapping, and actively converting small, medium, large, and mega construction projects from the design stage through execution. Key responsibilities include driving sustainable revenue growth by achieving sales, margin, and specification targets, positioning the organization as the preferred coatings solutions partner through technical selling, and coordinating cross-functionally with various teams (technical, logistics, finance) to ensure seamless project delivery. They must also monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform commercial strategy.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5–8 years’ experience in project-based or specification-driven sales within the paint or construction-related industry.
- Strong understanding of Kenya’s construction sector, procurement frameworks, and tendering processes.
- Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and influencing capability at senior levels.
- Commercially astute with a clear focus on profitable growth.
- High levels of independence, accountability, and professional integrity.
- Must own a car for official duties.
