ASSISTANT FRONT OFFICE MANAGER @ EXECUTIVE PLACINGS
A luxury lodge situated in Timbavati is actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Front Office Manager. This key leadership role involves supporting and overseeing the entirety of Front Office operations, while also managing associated revenue streams such as the Safari Shop, guest Massages, and Transfers. The successful candidate will be instrumental in coordinating lodge communication, managing day-to-day operations like guest preparation, check-ins, check-outs, and room allocations, and ensuring smooth liaisons with all internal departments, including airstrip operations. This position also requires the ability to relieve the Front Office Manager during periods of leave.Responsibilities extend to comprehensive staff management, including rostering, training, and leave planning, as well as providing crucial financial support. Duties will encompass banking procedures, generating detailed reports, conducting revenue and cost analysis, and ensuring the accuracy of all records and prompt follow-up on guest feedback. This role demands strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Front Office experience.
- Essential experience working in a 4–5-star lodge environment.
- Knowledge of Hospitality & luxury lodge operations.
- Excellent communication and proven leadership skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and decision-making capacity.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Proficiency in English (spoken & written).
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with a positive attitude.
- Experience with PANstrat system is advantageous.
