EaseIP (Pakistan) Private Limited is actively seeking a Trainee Patent Engineer to join their team in Islamabad. This role involves assisting in the creation, writing, filing, and protection of intellectual property (IP) primarily focusing on submissions to the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office). The selected candidate will engage with groundbreaking innovations, products, and ideas originating from top US-based companies, offering broad exposure and significant patent experience within a corporate environment.

Patent Engineers bridge the gap between science, engineering, and law, utilizing their technical background to protect innovation. The role requires professionals who are engineers or scientists by training and are ready to develop expertise in legal aspects of IP protection. The gross monthly salary offered for this trainee position is PKR 150,000, which will be reviewed following a 6-month training period.
Requirements:
  • MS/BS degree required in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science (CS), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Engineering (CE), or Software Engineering (SE) from a reputed institution.
  • Must maintain a GPA above 3 and First Division throughout their academic career.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong written communication skills.
  • Capability for quick and effective learning.
  • Willingness to sign an agreement to serve in Ease IP for 3 years from the date of joining.
  • In-built understanding of scientific principles and practices.
  • Ability to work five days a week with 9 working hours daily (including breaks) in Islamabad.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities necessary for handling complex innovations.
  • Must be eligible to work with US intellectual property processes (USPTO).
