Day Sparkle Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and organized Storekeeper to join a client in the thriving building materials industry in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This crucial role involves managing all aspects of inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels, and maintaining an organized store environment to support efficient business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling incoming shipments, coordinating outgoing materials, and producing timely inventory reports.
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in storekeeping, preferably female, who possesses strong analytical and communication skills. You must be proactive in managing logistics, committed to maintaining high standards of organization, and capable of working independently to meet supply chain demands within the dynamic building materials sector.

Requirements:
- Hold a Diploma in Procurement or Supply.
- At least 2 years of professional experience as a storekeeper.
- Demonstrable strong counting and meticulous organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication abilities for internal and external coordination.
- Ability to accurately maintain inventory records using relevant software (inferred).
- Experience working within the building materials or a related industry (inferred).
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (inferred).
- Must be capable of managing incoming goods, quality checking, and issuing materials.
- Ability to conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures within a store/warehouse environment (inferred).
