ACCOUNTANT AND PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR @ DAFRICA LIMITED
Dafrica Limited is seeking a highly organized and motivated Accountant and Project Administrator to join our team. This dual role requires managing the company's financial operations, including bookkeeping, reporting, and budget management, while simultaneously providing administrative and logistical support to ongoing projects. The position necessitates significant travel and operational oversight across various locations, including Dar es Salaam and all other regions within Tanzania, ensuring project goals are met efficiently and financially sound practices are maintained across the board.
The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background (Diploma or Degree) and at least two years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, monitoring project expenditures, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Given the extensive travel requirement, a valid driver's license is mandatory for this challenging and rewarding role.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting or project administration.
- Hold a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration).
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong financial reporting, bookkeeping, and budgeting skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage project timelines and administrative resources effectively.
- Knowledge of local Tanzanian tax and financial regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Swahili preferred).
- Ability to travel extensively across all regions of Tanzania as required by projects.
