SENIOR / LEAD MECHANICAL ENGINEER (OFFSHORE & SUBSEA) @ CORDATUS
This role is for an experienced Senior or Lead Mechanical Engineer specializing in the challenging fields of Offshore and Subsea operations. The successful candidate will leverage 8 or more years of industry experience, focusing heavily on subsea equipment, rig systems, and high-performance pumping systems. Key responsibilities include leading critical engineering projects, overseeing development cycles, and ensuring the reliability of complex mechanical assets operating in harsh marine environments.
The position requires strong technical leadership and deep mechanical expertise, coupled with significant exposure to the offshore industry's regulatory framework and operational demands. You will be instrumental in driving innovation and maintaining high safety and performance standards for all mechanical components and systems.

Requirements:
- 8+ years’ experience in subsea, rig equipment & pumping systems
- Lead engineering, development & reliability activities
- Strong mechanical expertise with offshore exposure
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., CAD, FEA).
- Deep knowledge of offshore industry standards and regulations (DNV, ABS).
- Experience managing project timelines and budgets.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to perform complex failure analysis and root cause investigations.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
