BNG Consultancy TZ is urgently hiring an Assistant Supply Chain Officer to support our logistical and procurement operations. This junior role requires candidates with 0 to 2 years of experience who possess a foundational understanding of the supply chain lifecycle, from sourcing and warehousing to final delivery. The successful applicant will be instrumental in processing purchase orders, managing supplier communications, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the timely flow of goods. The initial work location will be in the Mbagala Mission area of Dar es Salaam. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and possess strong organizational capabilities. We seek a motivated individual ready to learn and contribute immediately to optimizing our supply chain efficiency. Requirements:
- Fresher or 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in logistics or procurement.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for inventory management.
- Basic understanding of supply chain processes (procurement, warehousing, logistics).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to assist in managing inventory levels and stock control.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor communication skills.
- Detail-oriented approach to processing purchase orders and invoices.
- Ability to monitor and track shipments and delivery schedules.
- Knowledge of local Tanzanian customs and basic import/export regulations.
- Must be ready to attend an urgent interview in Mbagala Mission area.
