SENIOR ENGINEER - SAFETY @ AVE AL-YOUSUF
An immediate requirement exists for a Senior Engineer specializing in Safety to support a major Oil & Gas project in Saudi Arabia. This technical role focuses on applying engineering principles to safety management, ensuring all plant modifications and operational procedures meet rigorous safety standards, especially during maintenance, shutdown, and turnaround activities.
The role demands essential experience within the Oil & Gas industry, focusing specifically on preventive maintenance and operational safety engineering. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to risk mitigation efforts and maintain high safety integrity levels across the project.

Requirements:
- Proven engineering background combined with specialized safety experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Expertise in developing and reviewing safety engineering documentation and procedures.
- Mandatory experience in Maintenance, Shutdown, Turnaround, and Preventive Maintenance environments.
- Strong analytical skills for incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Ability to conduct detailed safety audits and inspections of complex systems.
- Familiarity with process safety management (PSM) principles.
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA 30-hour).
- Experience liaising with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in technical report writing and safety data analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
