SAFETY SUPERVISOR @ AVE AL-YOUSUF
We are urgently hiring experienced Safety Supervisors for a reputable, long-term Oil & Gas Project located in Saudi Arabia. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain continuous safety oversight at the site level, focusing particularly on ensuring compliance during intensive periods like maintenance, shutdowns, and turnarounds, as well as routine preventive maintenance schedules.
The supervisor must have mandatory, hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas sector. Key duties include site inspections, ensuring permit-to-work systems are adhered to, and actively promoting a safe working environment among all personnel. Requirements:
- Direct supervisory experience managing safety on-site for industrial projects.
- Thorough understanding of safety requirements for Maintenance, Shutdown, Turnaround, and Preventive Maintenance operations.
- Mandatory experience in the Oil & Gas industry is essential.
- Ability to conduct daily toolbox talks and site safety orientations.
- Proficiency in carrying out site safety inspections and generating corrective actions.
- Knowledge of working at height, confined space, and lifting operation safety procedures.
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH IGC).
- Strong ability to enforce safety rules and handle immediate safety concerns.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with the workforce.
- Experience in investigating minor incidents and near misses.
