PROJECT MANAGER @ APPRAISAL STAFFING
This role is for an experienced Project Manager to join a reputed Project Management Consultancy (PMC) focusing on ongoing industrial and civil infrastructure projects across Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from the initial planning stages through to final handover, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. A crucial requirement is hands-on exposure to African projects, ensuring familiarity with local operational nuances.
The manager must possess strong leadership and technical skills, including proficiency in project scheduling tools like Primavera or MS Project, and be capable of managing complex coordination efforts involving clients, consultants, and contractors. Key responsibilities include rigorous progress monitoring, detailed reporting, effective cost control, and managing quality and safety protocols. A background in Civil Engineering (B.E./M.E. preferred) and prior PMC experience are highly advantageous for this senior position.

Requirements:
- 8–10 years of professional experience in project management.
- Mandatory 2–3 years of project experience specifically within African countries.
- Educational background in Civil Engineering (Diploma, B.E., or M.E.).
- Proven experience in managing civil infrastructure projects from planning to handover.
- Strong technical proficiency in MS Office, MS Project or Primavera scheduling software.
- Expertise in AutoCAD for reviewing and managing project drawings.
- Demonstrated exposure to project execution, coordination, quality control, and safety management.
- Experience in managing project billing and financial reporting.
- Excellent skills in coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Ability to perform progress monitoring, comprehensive reporting, and rigorous cost control.
