PROJECT ENGINEER @ APPRAISAL STAFFING
The Project Engineer position supports the management of industrial and civil infrastructure projects in Tanzania, working under a reputable Project Management Consultancy (PMC). This role requires candidates with 5-6 years of experience, including mandatory hands-on project exposure within an African country. The core responsibility is ensuring smooth project execution, coordinating site activities, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidates must be proficient in technical tools such as MS Project/Primavera and AutoCAD, and have proven capabilities in client, consultant, and contractor coordination. Key tasks include monitoring construction progress, generating accurate status reports, and supporting cost control efforts. A strong background in Civil Engineering is essential, and prior experience working on the PMC side of projects is highly valued.

Requirements:
- 5–6 years of professional experience in engineering or project implementation.
- Mandatory 1–2 years of project experience specifically within African countries.
- Educational qualification in Civil Engineering (Diploma, B.E., or M.E.).
- Demonstrated experience in supporting the execution of civil infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in using MS Office, and project scheduling software like MS Project or Primavera.
- Competency in AutoCAD for engineering documentation and drawing review.
- Strong exposure to site coordination, quality assurance, and safety procedures.
- Experience assisting with project billing and documentation.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with site teams, consultants, and contractors.
- Active involvement in progress monitoring, performance reporting, and cost control initiatives.
