The Head of Quality & Product Control will oversee the end-to-end quality assurance processes within the fermentation and distillation segments of the ethanol production facility. This crucial leadership role ensures product integrity and adherence to international quality standards, specifically focusing on process optimization to maximize yields and minimize operational losses.
The ideal candidate is expected to provide robust operational leadership, including mentoring quality assurance teams and collaborating closely with production managers to implement effective control strategies. Candidates from Kenya, Zambia, and other East African (EA) and SADC Member countries are strongly encouraged to apply for this position located in Singida, Tanzania.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Food Science.
- 4-7 Years of proven professional experience in the Ethanol, Spirits, or related Process Industry.
- Strong Laboratory management skills and experience leading technical teams.
- Proven ability in Team management, mentoring, and developing staff.
- Expertise in fermentation and distillation quality oversight and control procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of industry-specific quality control standards and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments, particularly with production teams.
- Demonstrated success in process optimization, yield improvement, and loss prevention.
- Excellent analytical, data interpretation, and complex problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality assurance documentation within the chemical industry.
