COST & INVENTORY ACCOUNTANT @ AFRICAN LABOUR SOLUTIONS
Our client, a fast-growing company in the auto tyres & spares trading sector, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cost & Inventory Accountant. This role is based in Kenya, Nairobi (Westlands), and is crucial for overseeing and managing all stock control operations, ensuring efficient inventory flow, accurate costing, and proper documentation across the organization. The gross monthly salary for this position is Ksh. 70,000.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining stock policies, planning and placing orders, inspecting deliveries, and organizing warehouse inventory for optimal accessibility. Key duties also include accurate recording of stock quantities, timely data updates in the Inventory Management System, conducting periodic counts, and supporting cost accounting activities, ensuring accurate product costing and valuation.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Stock Controller or Inventory Accountant.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain principles.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with inventory software (e.g., SAP, ERP systems).
- Experience in a fast-paced trading or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to develop, implement, and maintain the company’s stock policies and procedures.
