SALES AND COMMERCIAL EXECUTIVE @ TELECOM INDUSTRY
The Sales and Commercial Executive is a crucial senior role reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer within the Telecom Industry, based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The primary objective is to manage, lead, and improve the performance of the Marketing and Sales department, focusing on achieving annual operational goals and maximizing revenue. The role requires coordinating budgets, driving the performance management process, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategies, vision, and mission.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing account plans, maintaining robust relationships with corporate clients, negotiating deals, participating in tender biddings (RFI/RFP), and consistently monitoring customer satisfaction. The executive will also present business trends to senior management for new product development. Requirements:
- Bachelors of degree in sales and marketing or higher degree.
- A minimum of Seven years' experience in a sales and Marketing position.
- Initiate marketing strategies and coordinate actions to influence the market.
- Clarify goals and reach agreement maintaining the interests of all parties.
- Proactively develops and improves products and services.
- Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues with mid and senior level management.
- Understands clients' needs and ability to absorb pressure from the client.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Computer literate with proficiency in commercial tracker software.
- Ability to develop, implement, and control account development plans to maximize new and recurring sales.
- Proven experience in preparing documents for RFI/RFP and participating fully in tender biddings.
- Strong negotiation skills to close complex deals with corporate clients.
