SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (1 POSITION) @ 3-STAR SUPERIOR HOTEL
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join the team at a reputable 3-Star Superior Hotel in Switzerland. This role is crucial for managing the hotel's financial health, including general accounting functions, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will provide detailed financial oversight to support management decisions.Candidates must possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the hospitality industry. Mandatory proficiency in German and English is essential for daily operations and communicating with finance stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and experience with financial software are highly required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the accounting field, preferably hospitality finance.
- Fluency in German (mandatory).
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
- Expertise in hotel accounting procedures and systems (e.g., Opera or similar PMS).
- Strong knowledge of Swiss financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Proficiency in payroll processing and tax compliance.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to manage general ledger and handle full month-end close processes.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all financial documentation.
- CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification preferred.
