Yusuf Bhai Perfumes is seeking a dynamic and experienced Export Manager to spearhead expansion efforts across diverse international markets, including Africa, Russia, the CIS, and the Balkan regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing robust export strategies, managing key distributor networks in countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt, Algeria, and Morocco. This role involves achieving ambitious sales targets and increasing market share while identifying and onboarding new partners to grow the brand's global footprint. Salary: AED 6,000 – 7,000 + Performance Incentives.
Beyond sales, the Export Manager will handle market intelligence, analyzing consumer behavior and competitor trends to recommend region-specific product strategies. The role requires a high level of coordination with marketing teams for retail activations and luxury positioning, as well as managing logistics and regulatory compliance for international shipments. Candidates should possess strong commercial expertise, multicultural adaptability, and the ability to travel frequently to various global regions including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, and CIS/Balkan markets.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or International Trade (MBA preferred).
5–15 years of relevant experience in export sales within Perfumes, Beauty, or FMCG.
Deep experience in Africa and/or Russia/CIS markets is highly preferred.
Fluent in English; proficiency in French or Russian is a significant plus.
Strong negotiation and commercial skills with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Knowledge of international trade & regulatory compliance including NAFDAC, SONCAP, KEBS, EAC.
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Teams for reporting and coordination.
Experience using ERP systems, with a preference for Odoo.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally 30–50% of the time.
Strong communication skills and high multicultural adaptability.
Ability to lead forecasting, budgeting, and demand planning for international markets.
Experience in managing and growing distributor networks across diverse regions.
