White Birch Property Management Company, part of the Tran Capital / Rhino Hospitality Collective, is seeking a dependable and experienced Property Maintenance Technician to join their team in Savannah, GA. This role supports a diverse portfolio of mixed-use properties, including residential and commercial assets, and involves hands-on responsibility for ensuring the physical condition, safety, and operational functionality of these properties. The successful candidate will report directly to the Property Manager and play a crucial role in supporting properties within an organization focused on commercial real estate, property management, and hospitality assets.

Key responsibilities include performing routine maintenance and repairs across residential units and common areas, promptly responding to work orders, and conducting unit turns involving tasks like light carpentry, painting, drywall, and fixture replacement. The technician will troubleshoot and repair various systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, while strictly adhering to safety protocols, building codes, and company procedures. Furthermore, the role involves completing preventative maintenance schedules to maximize efficiency, maintaining a clean work environment, monitoring property grounds for safety hazards, and coordinating with outside vendors for specialized repairs. The position requires assisting with emergency repairs and participating in an on-call schedule as needed.

This is a full-time position operating Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $60,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits including 2 weeks PTO and a 401(k) plan. Candidates must be reliable, detail-oriented, and possess strong problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks effectively across various properties in the Savannah area.

Key Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of property, facilities, or building maintenance experience preferred Working knowledge of plumbing systems Working knowledge of electrical systems Working knowledge of HVAC and general repairs Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Good communication and customer service skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions Ability to respond promptly to work orders in a professional manner
