BUSINESS ANALYST 5 (SENIOR) @ VYZE INC
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst (Level 5) for a one-year contract opportunity located in Lansing, MI. This hybrid role requires onsite presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from day one. The ideal candidate will have over seven years of professional experience, specifically within the government, retirement systems, or financial services sectors. You will be responsible for bridge-building between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure project objectives are met with precision.
The core of this role involves eliciting and documenting both business and technical requirements, creating detailed process models (As-Is and To-Be), and managing the end-to-end SDLC using Agile methodologies. You will also take ownership of enterprise wiki documentation and knowledge management systems, utilizing tools like Markdown and reStructuredText. Strong leadership in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and a commitment to high-quality documentation are essential for success in this Lansing-based position.

Key Requirements
7+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst.
Significant domain experience in Government, Retirement Systems, or Financial Services.
Proficiency in business and technical requirement elicitation and documentation.
Expertise in Process Modeling including As-Is and To-Be workflows and visual diagrams.
Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodology, including participation in sprint ceremonies.
Experience developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Demonstrated skills in knowledge management and enterprise wiki ownership.
Proficiency with technical documentation tools such as Markdown, Wiki Markup, and reStructuredText.
Ability to design complex wiki structures, navigation, templates, and cross-referencing systems.
Excellent communication skills for acting as a primary liaison between stakeholders and technical teams.
