MAINFRAME DEVELOPER @ VY SYSTEMS
VY Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mainframe Developer to join our dynamic technical team based in Mumbai. This role is specifically designed for professionals with a minimum of 6 years of expertise in working with legacy systems and enterprise-level computing. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing mainframe applications to ensure seamless business operations. This position requires a full-time commitment with a work-from-office schedule of five days per week at our Mumbai location.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate advanced proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and VSAM, along with specialized knowledge in CICS and IMSDB. We are prioritizing candidates who are available for an immediate start or can join within a maximum of 15 days. Key Requirements
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Mainframe development.
In-depth expertise in COBOL programming language for business applications.
Proven proficiency in Job Control Language (JCL) for batch processing.
Extensive experience with VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method).
Solid working knowledge of CICS (Customer Information Control System).
Hands-on experience with IMSDB database management systems.
Must be willing to work from the Mumbai office 5 days a week.
Ability to join immediately or within a maximum of 15 days notice.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex legacy code.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a dynamic team environment.
