SENIOR AEM ASSETS (DAM) DEVELOPER @ VR PRO IT
We are hiring Senior AEM Assets Developers for large-scale enterprise Asset & Content Lifecycle transformation projects. The role focuses on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets as a Cloud Service, asset workflows, metadata governance, rendition automation, integration with Workfront, and enterprise compliance controls. You will collaborate with Architects, Workfront teams, business stakeholders, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions. This position is available in multiple locations across the United States, offering a hybrid work environment for candidates with 6 to 10 years of experience in the industry. Your responsibilities will include building custom asset workflows for approval and legal review, implementing metadata schemas, and configuring dynamic renditions. You will develop custom OSGi services, Sling Models, and servlets while integrating AEM Assets with Adobe platform tools. Additional tasks involve enabling search optimization through Oak indexing, supporting bulk migration pipelines, and ensuring enterprise governance through audit trails and retention policies. The role requires a strong background in Java and experience with Agile sprints and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality delivery.
Key Requirements
Minimum 6 to 10+ years of professional experience in AEM Assets development.
Strong expertise in AEM 6.5 or AEM as a Cloud Service specifically focusing on Assets.
Deep experience with asset workflows, metadata schema implementation, and taxonomy modeling.
Demonstrated knowledge of AEM Workfront connector and Adobe platform tool integrations.
Experience working with Asset APIs, GraphQL, and RESTful integrations.
Proficiency in backend development using Java, OSGi, Sling Models, and HTL.
Familiarity with Dispatcher and CDN caching strategies for asset delivery.
Experience with asset migration tools and ingestion pipelines for bulk data.
Knowledge of performance tuning and Oak indexing for search optimization.
Experience working in Agile sprints with CI/CD pipelines via Cloud Manager.
Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Assets certification is highly preferred.
