VISID Construction Private Limited is currently seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical equipment, maintenance schedules, and technical implementation at various construction project sites across India. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment while ensuring all mechanical aspects of the projects are handled with precision.
You will be based at or report to our Chennai Head Office, but your duties will extend to various locations nationwide where we have active projects. We are looking for individuals who can manage resources efficiently and ensure compliance with engineering standards and timelines. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience or knowledge of mechanical systems in construction.
Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or other mechanical design software.
Strong understanding of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Knowledge of international and local engineering standards.
Willingness to travel to various project sites across the country.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet strict project deadlines.
