We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Developer to join our client's team in Plano, Texas. This long-term contract position is ideal for an experienced engineer with a deep understanding of modern web technologies and a focus on building scalable, high-performance applications. The successful candidate will lead the development of responsive web interfaces using both React.js and Angular, ensuring a seamless user experience across various platforms while owning the overall UI architecture through reusable components and performance patterns. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing robust design patterns and collaborating closely with product, UX, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end features. You will integrate front-end applications with backend services, including Python-based systems, and ensure high code quality through rigorous reviews and testing standards. This position requires strong debugging and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues across different environments, as well as a commitment to mentoring junior developers and driving team best practices.
Key Requirements
10+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on front-end engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with React.js including Hooks, component design, and state management like Redux.
Strong hands-on experience with Angular 10+ including RxJS, services, and dependency injection.
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 with a strong understanding of browser fundamentals.
Working knowledge of Python for reading/writing scripts and supporting API integration.
Experience integrating with REST APIs and handling authentication/authorization via JWT or OAuth.
Solid experience with Git, branching strategies, and collaborative code review workflows.
Ability to design and own UI architecture using reusable components and design patterns.
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Jasmine, or Karma.
Familiarity with UI frameworks like Material UI, Angular Material, or Tailwind CSS.
Exposure to cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization using Docker.
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and cross-browser problem-solving skills.
