LEAD I - BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST (ONSITE) @ UST
We are seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst for an onsite role located in West Des Moines, USA. In this capacity, you will partner closely with business stakeholders to analyze and document requirements across various business and technology teams, ensuring that the final technology solutions meet the intended business outcomes. You will act as a critical onsite link between the client and the technology teams, facilitating clear communication and alignment on project scope and priorities. The role requires the active use of AI-assisted tools to improve the clarity of artifacts and accelerate the requirement analysis process.
The position involves managing complex documentation, including functional specifications and process flows, and supporting the engineering and QA teams throughout the implementation phase. You will play a vital role in UAT planning and execution, helping to ensure a high-quality product release. Candidates with experience in the Insurance, Annuities, or Retirement Services sectors are highly preferred. The environment requires a professional who is comfortable with high-level technical discussions and who can recommend scalable improvements for enterprise-level platforms.

Key Requirements
7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst.
Strong fundamentals in requirements elicitation and documentation.
Proven ability to translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Hands-on experience in process modeling and workflow analysis.
Demonstrated experience using AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT to enhance productivity.
Experience working in complex enterprise systems and large-scale environments.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile or SAFe delivery models.
Experience in UAT planning, execution, and defect triage.
Ability to review technical designs and API level flows without coding.
Exposure to platforms such as policy administration systems or data platforms.
Experience working within onsite-offshore delivery models.
