LEAD I - BUSINESS ANALYSIS @ UST
This role is for a high-caliber Business Systems Analyst who will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. The primary focus is to elicit, analyze, and document requirements while ensuring that technical implementations align with business scope and priorities. A unique aspect of this position is the expectation to leverage modern AI tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT to accelerate artifact creation, improve quality, and perform faster impact analysis. The work involves significant collaboration with engineering, QA, and architecture teams within a complex enterprise environment. Work locations for this position include Trivandrum and Kochi as part of an offshore delivery model.
Beyond requirement gathering, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution, including test case reviews and defect triage. You will also be expected to identify process gaps and recommend practical, scalable improvements to current systems. While no coding is required, you must be comfortable reviewing technical designs and API-level flows. The role is ideally suited for professionals with a background in Insurance, Annuities, or Financial Services who are familiar with Agile and SAFe delivery models.

Key Requirements
7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst.
Strong fundamentals in requirements elicitation and documentation.
Proven ability to translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Hands-on experience in process modeling and workflow analysis.
Demonstrated experience using AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT to enhance productivity.
Experience working in complex enterprise systems and large-scale environments.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile or SAFe delivery models.
Experience in UAT planning, execution, and defect triage.
Ability to review technical designs and API level flows without coding.
Exposure to platforms such as policy administration systems or data platforms.
Experience working within onsite-offshore delivery models.
