COMMERCIAL HEAD- SOYABEAN @ UPMAN
The Commercial Head for the Soyabean division will be responsible for leading the end-to-end soybean procurement strategy across multiple global origins. This leadership role focuses on ensuring cost competitiveness and supply security while maintaining strict alignment with trading, crushing, and broader commercial objectives. The successful candidate will navigate the complexities of global soybean markets to drive business growth and operational efficiency from our hub in Dubai. The position involves a high degree of strategic planning to manage supply chain logistics and market volatility effectively.
In addition to strategic procurement, the role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to harmonize sourcing activities with the company's manufacturing and commercial capacities. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
An MBA degree is highly preferred for this senior leadership position.
12–18 years of professional experience in agri-commodity procurement or trading.
Extensive and deep exposure to the soybean market specifically.
Proven expertise in international sourcing and global supply chain logistics.
Comprehensive understanding of global soybean market dynamics and pricing trends.
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of successful negotiation.
Hands-on experience with commodity risk management and mitigation strategies.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
Strong analytical and strategic decision-making capabilities.
Ability to align procurement strategies with crushing and commercial objectives.
Experience working in a high-pressure, international trading environment.
