HVAC DESIGN ENGINEER @ UNITED TRADE LOGSTICS
United Trade Logstics is seeking a creative and skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Cairo. This role involves designing advanced air conditioning, cooling, and ventilation systems for a variety of diverse projects, specifically focusing on developments within Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will handle projects from initial design phases through to technical specification preparation, ensuring all systems meet international and regional standards. You will collaborate closely with architectural, electrical, procurement, and sales teams to ensure project cohesion and solve complex engineering challenges. Furthermore, the role requires ensuring compliance with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and energy efficiency standards. This is a full-time position located in Nasr City, Cairo, offering a dynamic environment for professional growth. Key responsibilities include using software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Carrier HAP to perform load calculations and draft detailed mechanical plans. The successful engineer will also prepare detailed BOQs and technical specifications while maintaining high quality requirements. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC system design.
In-depth knowledge of the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
Ability to use Carrier HAP for heating and cooling load calculations.
Experience with Duct Sizer and manufacturer-specific VRF/VRV software.
Knowledge of ASHRAE and SMACNA international standards.
Understanding of Saudi Civil Defense and Electricity Authority regulations.
Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Fluency in Arabic; basic knowledge of English.
Ability to conduct site visits and solve technical engineering challenges.
