ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST @ TRUVISION SOLUTIONS
TruVision Solutions is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Accounting Specialist to join our growing team. The primary focus of the position is managing general accounting practices using accrual-based methods, with a specific emphasis on overseeing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) workflows. You will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting the overall fiscal health of the company.
In addition to core accounting duties, the successful candidate will support the President/Owner with the daily tasks of running a small business, including general office operations. Candidates should have a strong understanding of manufacturing and inventory tracking concepts, particularly within the context of the engineering and government contracting sectors. As we are looking for someone to integrate deeply into our local operations, this position is open to local candidates only. Key Requirements
Proficiency in general accounting practices with a focus on accrual-based accounting.
Extensive background and practical experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory tracking concepts.
Experience or familiarity with the Engineering and Government contracting industries.
Ability to manage and oversee general office operations and administrative functions.
Demonstrated ability to support executive leadership or business owners with daily operations.
Must be a local candidate residing in or near the Huntsville, Alabama region.
Highly driven and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software and standard Microsoft Office suite applications.
