DIRECTOR – STRUCTURED CREDIT TECHNOLOGY @ TINA K
Join a dynamic team as the Director of Structured Credit Technology in Toronto. In this hybrid role, you will be a technology leader responsible for owning Structured Credit platforms and partnering directly with Front Office teams. You will drive the roadmap, stability, and innovation of ABS, MBS, TRS, and CMBS trading platforms, ensuring they meet the high demands of modern financial markets. Salary: $180,000–$200,000 CAD + 20% bonus + 4 weeks vacation.
You will lead and mentor a high-performing team of up to 14 engineers across multiple geographies, overseeing platform architecture and addressing production issues. Your role involves managing complex multi-million-dollar technology programs and vendor relationships while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational risk controls. Key Requirements
10+ years in capital markets technology with deep knowledge of Structured Credit/MBS platforms.
Proven leadership owning trading applications, platforms, and delivery outcomes.
Strong experience with global regulatory standards, controls, and operational risk.
Hands-on experience in platform modernization and multi-product integration.
Ability to lead and mentor a high-performing team of 1 to 14 engineers across geographies.
Experience overseeing platform architecture and resolving complex production issues.
Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar technology programs.
Excellent skills in managing vendor relationships and third-party integrations.
Strong analytical skills to partner effectively with traders, risk, and finance teams.
Expertise in defining roadmaps, operational enhancements, and technological innovation.
