TIMS Motors is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Assistant to support departmental business operations and coordination activities in Dar es Salaam. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who is eager to learn, able to multitask, and capable of working with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth business operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Department Head to coordinate marketing and promotion activities, follow up on customs clearance processes, and support daily departmental business operations to ensure efficiency and compliance. The salary for this position is TZS 800,000 per month and is negotiable based on experience.

Key duties include liaising with internal marketing teams and external partners such as designers and media agencies, assisting in the preparation of marketing materials, and tracking performance data. Additionally, the Business Assistant will coordinate with customs agents, prepare documentation like invoices and packing lists, and maintain records of clearance timelines. Daily business support involves communicating with clients, preparing for meetings, and maintaining contracts. This position offers a dynamic work environment for those looking to grow their career in business administration and logistics within the automotive industry.

Key Requirements

Male candidate, able to drive. Bachelor’s Degree in Business-related fields such as Business Administration, Marketing, or Logistics. Maximum of 2 years working experience in a similar role or any related field. Strong communication and coordination skills. High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and execution ability. Basic understanding of business processes, marketing, and customs clearance. Willingness to learn and adapt quickly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners.
